Day 2 (Week of September 16)

Introduction to the Ways of Knowing.

Worked to identify definitions for each of the ways of knowing, how they help us know, and limitations of each.

Day 1 (Week of September 9th)

Discussed various hypothetical situations and what the most ethical decisions would be in each case.

Discussed the case of The Queen vs. Dudley and Stephens (1884) as a further case of an ethical dilemma.

Discussed the basic structure of the course and expectations for the year.
